Sofas
This one surprised us a bit because, in general, we’re finding that smaller-sized sofas rent-out more often. The Redford is a healthy 91-inches wide, so not small.
But the Redford has always been one of our favourites because of its flexible
style, neutral upholstery, and clean, simple lines. The black iron base adds some drama, too.
The Redford manages to combine a casual-chic aesthetic and, as it turns out, is our most popular sofa for rental!
This one is interesting. While furniture styles are moving in directions that are often more organic and curved, this more angular chair was our most rented accent. A nod, perhaps, to mid-century inspiration.
It is a beautiful chair: the blonde ash frame and off-white boucle upholstery create a lighter feeling that can be paired with more dramatic statement pieces, while still holding its own.
So many choices! And the winner is… not wild, but not exactly traditional. This nesting coffee table offers a lot of design flexibility because of the small nesters which can be tucked in or flared out.
Console tables don’t rent out as much as other living room furnishings — most likely for space reasons.
Where they can be used, consoles provide extra surface space for lighting, décor, drinks, books, art, plants, or curated objects — all without cluttering the coffee table. They can also add depth and dimension to a room by creating a layered look. Finally, in open-concept spaces, a console can help anchor a sofa in making the layout feel intentional and cohesive.
The George is our most popular console, classy and refined, marble and brass. The Helena (the first console above) is all glass, so it can blend in anywhere. And the Amici X-base is a complete statement piece.
Rugs
Not surprisingly, rugs that lean towards neutral were the most rented in the last year. We’ve placed the top 3 in order with best-renting on the left/top and 3rd best-renting on the right/bottom.
The Iago, on the left/top is smaller at 6′ x 9′, the Elijah, in the middle, is an 8′ x 10′ rug, and the Elio, on the right/bottom, is also 8′ x 10′.
As you’d expect, smaller rugs tend to be popular in bedrooms while larger rugs go to the living room. Of note, the Elio was a later arrival in our inventory and is quickly becoming our most popular.

Wall Art
Hmmm. Art is very personal. The winner, in this case, was ‘From Above’ — a white-framed 53″w x 36″h giclee on matte paper.
Photography is overtaking abstract and animals in wall art these days, and our results seem to support that. Maybe something about being transported way?
Must be the curves. The Clementine dining chair is something of a show-stopper, combining modern design with comfort and beauty. You just want to sit at that table.
Our top renter when it comes to dining chairs!
That said, the Joss (middle) and Charles were nipping at its heels so the more classic forms will always be with us because… well… they’re classic 🙂
Kitchen & Dining Tables
Kitchen-sized tables go out more than full dining room tables, and our most popular rental was the Bennett dining table which measures 39″ and has a glass top and sleek base, allowing it to fit in almost any space.
In larger dining tables, the Doncaster was the most popular, while third place went to another more space-efficient kitchen/dining table — the Rebecca, a little larger at 42″ — but with plenty of style to fill any space.
Sideboards
Lighter sideboards out-rented darker sideboards. It’s no secret that current design trends favor lighter, natural finishes that evoke calm, simplicity, and maybe even a connection to nature.
In other settings, dark sideboards are excellent at evoking a sense of luxury and formality. Also, in a light or neutral-colored room, a dark sideboard can create visual contrast, making the space more dynamic and visually interesting.
Not all headboards are dark, but the ones that rent out the most tend to be.
The Dax is our most popular queen headboard and it’s not hard to see that darker headboards like the Dax can create a whole lot of drama in a bedroom… here, here, and here.
This one was tricky too. Traditional versus modern. In this case, modern –in the form of our Harley nightstand — won-out as our most popular nightstand rental.
We’re very fond of the Harley, leaning into it in larger and smaller spaces.
The other two nightstands featured here, the Bridgid and the Coventry, hew closer to traditional but manage to offer a vibrant pop of style to a bedroom.
Dressers
Dresser design has come a long way, too. The Lucius was our best-renting dresser, and you can see here how strongly it contributes the bedroom’s design.
The other two dressers are the very traditional Brookside and the beautifully paneled Gellert.
Once again, of all the beautiful accessories we rent… a soap pump?. Bathrooms, it seems, are the rooms most often accessorized and every bathroom needs an elegant soap pump 🙂
